Ventilated facades

sigma- ventilated facades

Sigma- ventilated facades provide the building with a gap, between the sigma RWs wall panels and the exterior cladding. Its primary purpose is further to fire protection, to moderate the exchange of heat, air, and light that circulates between the interior and exterior of the building. During the summer months, the increase in temperature inside the gap, generates a “chimney effect” that pushes the air upwards, thus reduces the panel’s temperature facing the inside of the building and keeps the building colder. During the cold winter months, the opening in the ventilated facade balances the panel’ s temperature facing the interior of the building, which reduces the risk of moisture from condensation.
They can be installed on new construction sites or on buildings undergoing renovation, both horizontally and vertically, offering unlimited choices of final claddings, among the standard or custom-made profiles.
